Amanda Lear Announces New Album ‘Looking Back’, Delivers Reflective ‘Amour(s)’

Music legend Amanda Lear unveils details of her latest studio Looking Back arriving on November 7th. The album’s artwork is designed by Amanda, who has built a prolific artistic career as well as reigning as the undisputed Queen of Eurodisco.

Album notes give an insight into the genres that we can expect Amanda to tap into the new LP, sharing: “A surprising album, including no less than 8 original tracks written especially for Amanda by talented songwriters such as Pierre Lapointe, Sacha Rudy and Patxi Garat. With this introspective album, the artist explores a new repertoire of contemporary French variety, as well as unusual shores such as the blues.” However, those that adore Amanda’s dance output will be relieved to see the statement: “She even collaborated with legendary American DJ Chris Cox on the powerful dance track “When I Was Your Favorite Singer.”

The first taste of the album Amour(s) is penned by Benjamin Dantès and Patxi Garat, with production by Georges landtsheere and Alain Mendiburu. The number is a breezy mid-tempo which Amanda delivers her delicious elegant vocal atop, shining amidst the reflective orchestral pop production.

The album is currently available to order via Vinyl Collector and Amazon France.
